Kathryn Park

Kathryn joined the Thomas Company in 2015. Before coming onboard at Thomas Company, Kathryn was the Marketing Director at Fran’s Chocolates, a Seattle-based confectionary company. Kathryn oversaw marketing and public relations for their wholesale, retail and e-commerce divisions. Notable projects during her tenure included implementation of a new web platform and restructuring retail priorities, resulting in 20% revenue growth.

 

Kathryn’s past professional experience includes marketing and public relations in the hospitality, political, medical, non-profit and building industries, among others. Her expertise includes brand strategy and management, corporate communications, media relations, execution of print and electronic collateral, special events, website design and development and community relations and outreach.

 

In 2008, Kathryn was featured in a Washington Post profile as a prominent DC-area “PR Pro”. Kathryn’s press placements include pieces in The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post, The Seattle Times, Puget Sound Business Journal, King 5 Evening Magazine, Consumer Reports, Food & Wine, Food Network, Cooking Channel, People Magazine, Details Magazine and the Denver Post.

 

Kathryn’s event experience ranges from large scale public events like the Taste of Georgetown in Washington DC to trade shows like the Fancy Food Shows in San Francisco and New York and the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen.

 

Kathryn is a graduate of Georgetown University, with a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing.
